Kwame's Kids Project:
Empowering Education in Ghana
The Kwame's Kids Project, formerly known as the Collaborative Library Literacy Project, is a transformative initiative aimed at enhancing literacy and educational empowerment in Ghana.
This project combines two core objectives: firstly, to promote literacy by establishing libraries stocked with African-centered books for children and university students. Secondly, to empower education by providing essential school supplies, books, and instructional resources to local partner schools.
In 2018, the project was renamed in collaboration with the Alpha chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., honoring Dr. Kwame Nkrumah's dedication to educating African children. The Alpha Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. also joined as a partner, aligning with their global focus on educational empowerment. Participants of every 3GC Inc trip are encouraged to conduct campus and community drives at their universities, contributing to the project's success. Each year, 3GC Inc delivers an average of 400-600 books and numerous school supplies to Ghana, making a significant impact on education in the region.
