Pan-African
Study Abroad Program

Creating a Legacy
HAEC is dedicated to engaging 100,000 students of African descent from the Diaspora and the African continent within a 10-year period starting Fall 2022. This initiative aims to remove barriers such as finances, awareness, and fear, facilitating study abroad experiences on the African continent. HAEC partners with HBCUs and African-based universities to lead this effort.

Study Abroad Program Providers

HAEC partners with three third-party study abroad providers to conduct its programs. The HBCU Africa Education Coalition Corp. (HAEC) is a subsidiary of 3GC Incorporated, a 501(c)(3) specializing in study abroad programs and curriculum. HAEC's mission is to eliminate disparities in access to study-abroad opportunities for students of African descent. The coalition leverages the 100,000 Strong Africa Initiative and a unique Pan African Study Abroad Model to create sustainable study abroad opportunities.
