Our time in Accra offered a dynamic blend of cultural, academic, and artistic exploration. Starting with a warm welcome at the Aya Center, the day unfolded with a guided tour of the University of Ghana, where we explored the historic campus and engaged in a vibrant language class. A lively dance and drumming class at the University of Ghana’s Dance Department brought the city’s rhythm to life. In between, we explored Accra’s vibrant markets, iconic landmarks like the Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum and Black Star Square, and soaked in the energy of the capital’s artistic hubs. This multifaceted experience showcased the rich tapestry of Accra’s heritage, creativity, and community.
