Welcome to the HAEC 2024 Ghana Experience! This journey was a powerful blend of cultural immersion, academic exploration, and connections across the Pan-African landscape. From an “Akwaaba” welcome and traditional Ghanaian cuisine to visits at the W.E.B. DuBois Center, Assin Manso, and Cape Coast Dungeon, participants delved into Ghana’s rich history and culture. Engaging Service Learning Days offered hands-on community involvement, while excursions to Kakum National Park, beach celebrations, and lively cultural evenings revealed the vibrant spirit of Ghana. Through conferences, research panels, and dialogues with local leaders, HAEC participants deepened their academic perspectives and celebrated Ghana’s contributions to the global community.
