HAEC Annual Conference - 2025
100,000 Strong Africa Conference
HAEC looks to Engage 100,000 students of African descent in the Diaspora and on the African continent (positioning HBCUs and African based Universities to lead the charge) to travel, immerse, study, and serve through a mutual exchange model, within a 10-year span begun in Fall 2022. With particular focus on removing the barriers of finances, awareness, and fear to engage in study abroad programs on the African continent.
4th Annual HAEC Conference
Join us for the 4th Annual HBCU Africa Education Coalition (HAEC) Conference, led by the Office of International Programs, CAU Political Science Department, and the School of Education. This year's conference will continue advancing our 100K Strong Africa Initiative, fostering strategic partnerships among HBCUs, allied institutions, and African-based universities and organizations.
Inspired by the legacy of Pan-African leaders such as Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, Malcolm X, Amy Garvey, Marcus Mosiah Garvey, and W.E.B. DuBois, this conference will explore how Pan-Africanism remains a dynamic movement, continually evolving to meet the challenges of the modern world. Together, we aim to restore freedom and dignity for Africans at home and abroad.
